From dramatic and emotional, to moody and still, immortalizing the energy of the moment is at the forefront of my work. My photographic style is adaptable and ranges from event photography, to fine arts compositions, and narrative driven projects. As an artist, the goal of my work is to create surrealistic images that grab ahold of my viewer’s attention. Through chaotic composition, dramatic contrast, and compositing multiple images, I create dreamlike scenes that play with the psychoanalytical relationships between motivation and identity. Within this, there is an acute attention to hands in my strongest work. To me, hands are a tangible metaphor of how one gets a grip on the physical and metaphysical elements of our reality.
